| Angela Walker win by 12 strokes in her 2016 Debut. Angela Walker made her 2016 debut at the 2016 Bradenton Kickoff classic this past Sunday at the Preserve Golf Club. The course proved to be a tough test for this weeks field with an average net score of 22 over par and an average gross score of 105. Even Angela gross 87 for a net 3 under par could not help the fields average. Angela won by 12 strokes over the front 9 leader Jeremy Walker. Jeremy shot a 49 for a net even par for a 2 stroke lead but it was all Angela on the back nine. With a birdie on 11, a chip in par on 12 and a 40 foot putt for birdie on 18, Angela finished on the back 9 with 40 net 31. Order of Merit- Angela's victory vaults her into 2nd place on the Order of Merit just 75 points behind Terry Schmidt Player of the Year- Angela's Victory earned her 223 Player of the year points puting her into 2nd place just 53 points behind Terry Schmidt Team SW Florida (2 Time National Champion 2012,2013) Angela Walker's victory currently places her in the 5th spot on Team SW Florida 1- Achim Triebel 2- Rick Lopiccolo 3- Frank Monaco 4- Terry Schmidt 5-Angela Walker Qualifier- |
